This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform at app.geoscribe.ai and our marketing website at geoscribe.ai (collectively, the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Service.

We collect information that you provide directly and information gathered automatically when you use the Service.

Account Information — When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, company name, and billing information. If you sign up through a team invitation, we also collect your role within the workspace.

Usage Data — We automatically collect data about how you interact with the Service, including pages visited, features used, content generated, timestamps, IP address, browser type, device information, and referring URLs.

Third-Party Integration Data — When you connect external services such as Google Search Console, Google Business Profile, Google Analytics, or WordPress, we access data from those services on your behalf. Payment Processors — We use Stripe to process payments. Your payment information is handled directly by Stripe and is not stored on our servers.

AI Providers — We use third-party AI models to generate content. Content prompts and generated text are processed by these providers but are not used to train their models.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service.

Account Data — Retained for the duration of your account. After account deletion, we remove personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required for legal, tax, or audit purposes.

Generated Content — Articles and other content you generate remain in your account until you delete them. Content published to WordPress or other platforms is managed by those platforms after publishing.

Usage Logs — Aggregated usage data is retained for analytics purposes and is not tied to individual users after anonymization.

Backups — Backup copies of your data may persist for up to 90 days after deletion before being permanently purged from our systems.

The Service is not intended for individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
